Terence O’Rourke trained as a Chartered Accountant. He was Managing Partner of KPMG Ireland until 2013 and a member of the KPMG Global Board and Global Executive Team (2007-2013). Terence is a former President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Currently, Terence is the Chair of ESB (Electricity Supply Board) and RTÉ (Ireland’s National Broadcaster).

Terence is a former chair of Enterprise Ireland, Rethink Ireland and the Irish Management Institute. He is a former Board member of Hibernia Reit plc, the Children’s Health Foundation and the Irish Times. Currently, Terence is a Board member of The Hugh Lane Gallery, the Irish Film Institute and Ballymore Ireland.
