Sean Kelly is a managing director at Nomura Securities in New York where he serves as Head of Capital Commitments for the Acquisition and Leveraged Finance business and Co-Chair of the Global Markets (Americas) Transaction Review Forum.

Mr. Kelly has extensive experience underwriting, structuring, and distributing debt financings for private equity-led transactions in both the US and European markets. His transaction experience extends across a wide range of fixed income products, countries, and industries. Prior to joining Nomura, Mr. Kelly held positions in acquisition finance, loan syndications, capital markets, and sales at FleetBoston, Bank of America, and Lehman Brothers. Before relocating to New York in 2013, he was based in London for eleven years and was formerly a member of the Loan Market Association Board.

In addition to an MBA from Boston College, Mr. Kelly also holds a BA in Government from Wesleyan University and an MA in History from University College Cork. Outside of work, he serves on the Advisory Board of Glucksman Ireland House NYU and is a member of the Irish Arts Center. He lives in Connecticut with his wife, Deirdre, and their children, Aisling and Liam.
