Brendan Gaffney is the Co-Founder of Venturewave Group and Managing Partner at Venturewave Capital. He drives global impact strategies, sustainable investments, portfolio support, investment sourcing, ESG alignment, and due diligence. Brendan oversees Venturewave Group and leads strategic direction across its subsidiaries, including Venturebeam (formerly Funderbeam), Rochtaine, and Venturewave Partners.
Earlier, Brendan led the management buy-in of Blueface alongside Alan Foy and Lord Iveagh (Head of the Guinness Family), helping it grow into a global UCaaS leader acquired by Comcast Business in 2020. He also served as President of Global Cloud at Star2Star Communications, scaling operations and supporting its acquisition by Sangoma in 2021.
Beyond business, Brendan is an internationally recognised Burning Man artist. He creates large-scale sculptures from recycled steel, exhibited in 42 museums worldwide and featured in Ripley’s Believe It or Not! His notable commissions include projects for Google, Activision, EuroMillions Lottery, and Top Gear.
At Rochtaine, Brendan cultivates elite relationships across private aviation, yachting, and bespoke hospitality sectors, strengthening the company’s luxury experience offerings.
Brendan graduated with first-class honours from Trinity College Dublin, earning a BBS and MA. His background as an expedition leader and a Burning Man artist reflects a passion for adventure, sustainability, and making a global impact.
