Patricia Gannon is a member of the Venturewave Capital Global Advisory Council.
Currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Platforum9, a specialised social audio app designed for lawyers, Patricia is an Irish Solicitor with over two decades of experience. She was a founding partner of the largest regional law firm in the former Yugoslavia, overseeing a team of more than 200 professionals. Her extensive background encompasses leadership, management, business development, and strategic expansion.
Having worked at the European Commission in Brussels, a German law firm in Munich and a top law firm in Dublin, she brings a level of internationalism and professionalism to the regional practice.
She is a founding member of the Serbian Private Equity Association (SPEA), served as Chair of the European Forum of the International Bar Association, and is currently a member of the Advisory Board. She works with start-ups in Germany, Ireland, and Serbia through local accelerator Start Labs and as an Advisor to Impact Hub.
She founded the WE Angels network of women entrepreneurs supporting women-led businesses in the Balkans and initiated Here-4-Her, a movement designed to empower women by developing skills and networks.
As a committed advocate of corporate philanthropy, she was a key driver of the Serbian Philanthrophic Forum, an umbrella forum of the country’s leading foundations, with a particular focus on developing standards of practice.
