John Matson is a member of the Venturewave Capital Global Advisory Council.
John is a senior corporate partner and Head of International at Arthur Cox. He specialises in corporate law and has a broad corporate and commercial practice, including advising upon domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and other complex corporate transactions.
John also extensively deals with overseas clients and counsel on the establishment of business operations in Ireland and ongoing legal requirements and issues. During his career, John has headed up both Arthur Cox’s New York and London offices, one of the firm’s M&A teams, and served on, and currently participates in, the firm’s Management Committee.
In 2016, John was Chairman of Lex Mundi, the world’s leading network of highest-tier independent law firms. As Head of International, he is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s international strategy and offices.
