Elliott Masie is a provocative, engaging, researcher, educator, analyst, and entrepreneur – focused on the changing world of the workplace, learning, technology and storytelling. Elliott is acknowledged as the first analyst to use the term eLearning and was a global organizer of the emerging EdTech and Learning Technology fields.
Elliott and his wife Cathy Masie , are based in Dublin, Ireland and Saratoga Springs, NY. They are Co-Chairs of the MASIE Learning Foundation. In addition, they co-lead MASIE Productions, which has produced over 50 Broadway and global musical and dramas for the stage and are Tony Nominated. They are Research Fellows at Trinity College, supporting innovations in Education and the Learnovate project.
Elliott serves as an advisor to a wide range of government, education, and non-profit groups. He has served on the Board of Trustees of Skidmore College, as a member of FIRST Robotics Board of Directors, and as a board member for the Williamstown Theater Festival. He has also served as a pro-bono advisor to the Department of Defense and on the White House Advisory Council on Expanding Learning Opportunities, and as a member of the CIA University Board of Visitors.
Over the past fifty years, he has presented programs, courses, and speeches to over 5,200,000 professionals around the world.
