Aongus Hegarty is a renowned leader with over 35 years of global experience, notably as Dell Technologies’ President for International Markets, an organisation spanning over 170 countries. An advocate for business innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and gender balance, he co-chaired the Irish government’s Balance for Better Business initiative for three years.
Aongus is a founder and director of Lakeside Capital Ltd. and serves on the Global Advisory Council for VentureWave. He is a board member of the University of Limerick Foundation and Special Olympics Ireland. He chairs both the Lero Research Ireland Governance Committee and Munster Rugby Commercial Advisory Group. Honoured with a life fellowship by the Irish Management Institute in 2019, Aongus continues to shape business and leadership.
