Edward Guinness

Lord Iveagh alongside retaining formal links with the City of Dublin given his role at the housing charity, The Iveagh Trust, overseas his family’s land assets in the UK, centred around Elveden, Suffolk, a vegetable grower and supplier to UK food processors and retail multiples. A small team focusses on agri-innovation, including sectoral opportunities arising from the web.

His charitable roles encompass air ambulance, and agricultural training, education, and scientific research, alongside built heritage. As an Irishman he is proud to have been a Cross Bencher in the House of Lords whilst in his twenties. Business interests include leisure and recreation, conservation, forestry and horticulture. Edward founded a wealth management firm borne out of his family office, which was successfully sold.

Lord Iveagh is a publican, noting that this activity harps back to his great great great great great great grandfather, who went on to found the brewery bearing his name.

He is a founder investor of VentureWave, having supported the management team buy-in of Blueface, the merger with Star to Star, and the business’s sale to Comcast.
