After being raised in County Cork, Pat and his family moved to South Florida’s in 1977. Pat attended The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, on a US Navy Scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business. Pat did his postgraduate work at The American College, focusing on Financial Services.

Pat is a Chartered Financial Consultant and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary. He is President of NorthState Insurance/Advisors and recently sold Albemarle Oil Company, a regional Shell and BP distributor in the Carolinas. Pat is also President of Citadel Development Group, a commercial and residential real estate developer.

A member of the North Carolina Board of Transportation, Pat is co-chair of the Inspector General/Audit committee. Pat also sits on the board of the local College foundation and the finance committee of FirstHealth of the Carolinas.

Pat and his wife, Jodie, have two adult children and reside in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
