Stephen was co-founder of Green REIT plc and was until recently, Chairman of Green Property REIT Ventures DAC, Investment Manager to the Company. He also held the position of Managing Director of Green Property plc from 1993 to 2002 and as Chairman to the present date. Under Stephen’s stewardship, Green Property plc’s market capitalisation grew from approximately €24 million in 1993 to approximately €1 billion in 2002 when Stephen led a leveraged buyout of the company in a transaction worth approximately €1.9 billion. Green REIT was sold to Henderson Park in November 2019 for approximately €1.35 billion

Stephen joined London based, St. Quintin Chartered Surveyors in 1981 as Investment Partner and was appointed managing partner in 1987. Stephen was a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has held numerous non-executive positions on the boards of regulated entities and listed companies in the UK and India. He currently serves on the board of the National Maternity Hospital and is a non-executive director of Staycity. He has recently become Chairman of UrbanVolt, a Dublin based sustainable energy company.
